Therapy with children works through careful observation with a child’s relationship with play, art, and caregivers. As your child’s therapist, I will help provide skills to work through a child’s struggles. As the parent, you know your child best and my role is to give guidance on managing big feelings in and out of my office. Children learn through play, whether it’s direct play with toys, imaginative play, or art.
Your role in the therapeutic process as the parent is vital and I invite you to be involved in the process of learning how to best help your child grow. You can expect to be involved in every session for feedback and updates about new skills to work with so that your child can flourish.
